The 3.5-year apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) at DB Fernverkehr AG or DB S-Bahn GmbH in Hamburg includes learning the basics of mechanics and electronics, performing maintenance and repairs on vehicles, and using modern measuring and testing equipment. The apprenticeship also covers the maintenance of railway crossing systems and control systems in vehicles.
