The Deutsche Bahn is one of the most diverse employers in Germany, annually recruiting more than 5,000 apprentices across 50 professions nationwide. They offer a 3.5-year training program for Mechatronics Technicians in Cologne starting on August 11, 2026.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

You will become a professional in maintaining, servicing, and repairing complex equipment such as elevators, escalators, and lifting platforms
You will focus on electronic systems
You will gain experience in programming, installing, and testing modern hardware and software components
You will learn to create error and malfunction diagnoses
You will be trained on how to expertly fix issues and defects

Anforderungen:

You have successfully completed school or will soon graduate, and your school certificate is recognized in Germany
Your German language skills are at least at the B2 level
You have a passion for technology
You are particularly good at math and physics
You are reliable and a team player
You work very accurately and enjoy hands-on tasks
