Jobbeschreibung:

The 3.5-year apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the Halle (Saale) location. The vocational school is located in Delitzsch north of Leipzig (near the train station). The training workshop is located on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße in the immediate vicinity of Leipzig Central Station.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work outdoors in the track network in the area of signaling and safety technology (LST)
participate in new, expansion, and conversion of electrical systems such as signals, signal boxes, level crossings, or switchgear
learn to lay signal cables and connect them properly
cabling of signals and antennas
knowledge of measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures and their expert documentation

Anforderungen:

School diploma recognized in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
interest in technology
good in mathematics and physics
willingness to work at changing locations (nationwide) and schedules
ability to work outdoors
reliability
teamwork
precision
hands-on attitude
