Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves a 12-month internal retraining program to become a train driver, combining theoretical and practical training. After successful completion, the candidate will independently operate locomotives and rail vehicles.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

ensuring safe and punctual transport of passengers
maintaining safety-relevant equipment and technical operability of trains
making expert decisions and taking responsibility for people and vehicles
ensuring passenger information during operational deviations
handling difficult customers with patience and a friendly demeanor

Anforderungen:

20 years of age
school diploma
completed vocational training preferably in the technical field
willingness to work in irregular shift patterns (night shifts, weekends, holidays, varying daily working hours)
proficiency in German (at least B1 level)
willingness to learn, reliability, and commitment
clean driving record (points not necessarily a disqualifier)
readiness to prove medical and psychological fitness

Wünschenswert:

experience in technical fields
prior training as a train driver
