Jobbeschreibung:

Career changer as train driver at DB Regio AG in Aulendorf. 12-month internal retraining program prepares candidates for job entry. Training includes theoretical and practical components at Ulm location and practical assignments near home. Modern training using simulators and tablets. After successful completion, qualified for independent operation of locomotives and rolling stock.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Safe operation of locomotives and rolling stock
Punctual transportation of passengers
Ensuring safety-relevant equipment and technical operational capability of locomotives
Maintaining cleanliness and order in the interior
Making expert decisions and taking responsibility for people and vehicles
Ensuring passenger information during operational disruptions
Contributing to high service quality

Anforderungen:

Completed 20th year of age
Demonstrable school leaving certificate
Successfully completed vocational training preferably in the technical field
Willingness to work irregular shift patterns (night shifts, holiday and weekend work, with varying daily working hours)
Proficiency in German language in spoken and written form
Willingness to learn, reliability and commitment
Current extract from the driving fitness register (points are not an automatic exclusion criterion)
Willingness to prove medical and psychological suitability (checked during the selection process through an occupational health examination)
