Jobbeschreibung:

Career changer opportunity as train driver with 11-month internal retraining program in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Training includes theoretical and practical components using modern methods including simulators and tablets. After successful completion, qualified for independent operation of locomotives and trains.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Safe operation of locomotives and trains
Ensuring punctual passenger transportation
Maintaining safety-relevant equipment and technical operational readiness
Ensuring cleanliness and order in train interiors
Making expert decisions and taking responsibility for people and vehicles
Providing passenger information during operational disruptions
Handling difficult customers with patience and friendly demeanor

Anforderungen:

Minimum age of 20 years
Proof of school completion
Willingness to work irregular shift patterns (night shifts, holidays, weekends, with varying daily working hours)
German language proficiency at minimum B1 level (spoken and written)
Learning willingness, reliability and engagement
Clean driving record (points not necessarily exclusionary)
Willingness to undergo medical and psychological fitness assessment
