Jobbeschreibung:

Career changer as locomotive driver in freight transport with 12-month internal retraining at the Hamm training location. The training includes theoretical modules in small classes and practical phases at nationwide deployment locations. Upon successful completion, participants obtain the European locomotive driving license.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Safe and punctual transport of goods on rail for customers
Transporting diverse goods such as containers in continental and combined freight transport
Operating nationwide on different routes with various locomotive series
Responsibility as train chief for conducting train journeys
Independently and reliably checking technical departure readiness of trains before each trip

Anforderungen:

Successful school graduation or completed vocational training (e.g., as professional driver, warehouse logistics specialist, or baker)
Minimum age of 20 years
Willingness to work in shift and alternating duty, especially in late and night shifts as well as on Sundays and holidays
Interest in technical contexts and openness to continuously expand knowledge
High level of responsibility, reliability and independence
Medical and psychological suitability (verified during selection process)
No relevant entries in the driving aptitude register
Commitment to climate protection
