This job offer is aimed at career changers interested in becoming a train driver (Lokführer) for the DB Regio AG in Frankfurt am Main. The one-year retraining program involves theoretical and practical phases, small training classes, and modern learning tools like simulators and tablets. After completion, you will be responsible for safely operating trains, managing technical aspects, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Ensure passengers reach their destinations safely, comfortably, and punctually
Check the technology, the digital equipment such as passenger information systems, and cleanliness of the vehicle
Make informed decisions in challenging situations, considering safety, customer needs, and economic aspects

Anforderungen:

Minimum 20 years old and have a recognized school certificate, preferably complemented by a completed professional training
Good command of German language both verbally and in writing, with at least a B1 language certificate
Willingness to learn, reliability, interest, and commitment
Able to provide a current excerpt from the driving aptitude register
Willingness to work in continuous shift operations, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, with varying start times
Prepared to prove medical and psychological fitness through company medical examinations during the selection process
