Jobbeschreibung:

Deutsche Bahn seeks candidates for a three-year apprenticeship as locomotive driver or railway traffic controller starting September 1, 2025, in Frankfurt am Main. The apprenticeship includes both practical and theoretical training at the Heinrich-Kleyer-Schule.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Driving trains safely and on time from point A to point B
Informing passengers via loudspeakers in case of deviations or changes in operations
Preparing trains for journeys and organizing them together with other team members
Operating technology in signal boxes to manage traffic
Switching signals and points for safe railway operations
Collaborating with train traffic control and locomotive drivers.

Anforderungen:

You have successfully completed school or will soon complete it and your school certificate is recognized in Germany
Your German language skills correspond to at least B2 level
Even in difficult situations, you remain calm and keep an overview
You like to take responsibility, make quick decisions, and are reliable and resilient
Working on weekends and public holidays is okay for you.
