Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves a 10-month internal retraining program in Trier to prepare for the role of a train driver. The training includes theoretical and practical lessons, practical experience at the future workplace, and the use of simulators and tablets. After successful completion, the candidate will be qualified to independently operate locomotives and trains.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

ensuring safe and punctual transportation of passengers
maintaining the safety-relevant equipment and technical operational readiness of the trains
ensuring cleanliness and order inside the train
making expert decisions and taking responsibility for people and vehicles
providing passenger information in case of deviations in train operations
dealing with difficult customers with patience and a friendly smile

Anforderungen:

20 years of age
school diploma
preferably completed vocational training in the technical field
willingness to work in irregular shift work
proficiency in German (at least B2 level)
learning readiness, reliability, and commitment
possession of a Class B driver's license
willingness to undergo medical and psychological examinations
