The 3-year apprenticeship as a train driver (Eisenbahner:in im Betriebsdienst Lokführer:in und Transport) for DB Regio AG in Frankfurt (Main) includes learning to operate trains safely, informing passengers about changes, preparing trains, and gradually taking over driving responsibilities under supervision. The vocational school lessons take place in blocks at the Heinrich-Kleyer-Schule in Frankfurt (Main).

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Learn to operate trains safely and punctually
Inform passengers about deviations or changes in train operations
Prepare and assemble trains for trips
Gradually take over driving trains under supervision

Anforderungen:

School education completed or soon to be completed with recognized diploma in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in difficult situations
Willingness to take responsibility, make quick decisions, and be reliable and resilient
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
