Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a train driver (Eisenbahner:in im Betriebsdienst Lokführer:in und Transport) starting on 1 September 2026 at DB Regio AG in Landshut. Vocational school is located in Munich. The role involves learning to operate trains safely and punctually, informing passengers about changes, preparing trains for trips, and gradually taking over driving responsibilities.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Ensure safe and punctual train operation
Inform passengers about deviations or changes in train operations
Prepare and assemble trains for trips
Gradually take over train driving under supervision

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
Interest in technology
Willingness to take responsibility, make quick decisions, and be reliable and resilient
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
Must pass medical and psychological suitability examination
