Jobbeschreibung:

Three-year apprenticeship as a train driver (Eisenbahner:in im Betriebsdienst Lokführer:in und Transport) starting on September 1, 2026. The vocational school is located in Schkeuditz (near Leipzig), and seminars are held near Leipzig Hauptbahnhof.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Learn to drive trains safely and on time
Inform passengers about deviations or changes in train operations
Prepare and assemble trains for trips
Gradually take over driving trains under supervision

Anforderungen:

School education successfully completed and recognized in Germany
German language skills at least at B2 level
Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in difficult situations
Willingness to take responsibility, make quick decisions, and be reliable and resilient
Willingness to work on weekends and holidays
