As a train driver in freight transport, you are responsible for the safe and punctual delivery of goods on the rails. The position includes a 12-month internal training program for career changers, preparing participants to become certified European train drivers. The job involves nationwide operations, handling diverse goods, and checking the technical readiness of trains independently.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Transport diverse goods such as gravel, switches, paper, wood, consumer goods, and heavy special transports
Nationwide operations across varying routes with different locomotive models
Act as the leader of your train and ensure secure train operations
Inspect the technical readiness of trains independently before each trip

Anforderungen:

Successful school graduation or completed vocational training such as professional driver, logistics specialist, or baker
At least 20 years old
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, and undertake long trips with overnight stays
Interest in technical contexts and a readiness to continuously expand knowledge
High level of responsibility, reliability, and independence
Medical and psychological suitability, assessed during the selection process
No relevant entries in the driving suitability register
Environmental awareness and commitment to climate protection
