Jobbeschreibung:

As a train driver for infrastructure maintenance, you are responsible for the logistical provision of locomotives and large machines. Your everyday life is exciting, eventful, and you make a valuable contribution to maintaining the rail infrastructure. The retraining takes place full-time (39 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical training sections. The theoretical training takes place in Duisburg, Berlin, or Nuremberg. Accommodation is provided. You will receive a modern education, also using simulators and tablets. Upon successful completion, you will acquire the qualification as a train driver for the tower railcar (TVT). You will receive a full salary during the training.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

logistical provision of locomotives and large machines
driving the vehicle to the work or fault location
routine supply of construction sites with materials and tools
transport of colleagues to the deployment site
train, block, and shunting operations in compliance with relevant regulations
independent processing and feedback of assigned orders
ensuring flawless operation of the locomotive
maintenance and care of the assigned locomotives

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training, preferably in the technical-trade sector
willingness to work irregular shift work (including night shifts, holidays, and weekends, with varying daily working hours)
teamwork, resilience, and high sense of responsibility
medical and psychological suitability confirmed by a company medical examination
good knowledge of the German language (B2 level with proof)
valid Class B driver's license
