Jobbeschreibung:

DB Cargo AG is seeking career changers for training as freight train drivers starting November 1, 2025. The training will consist of theoretical modules and hands-on practice. Successful completion leads to obtaining the European train driver's license.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Transport diverse goods from the steel sector as a freight train driver
traveling on different train routes nationwide with various locomotive models
ensure the train's execution and drive responsibility
independently and reliably check the technical readiness of the train prior to each departure

Anforderungen:

Successful school graduation or completed vocational training such as professional driver, warehouse logistics technician, or baker
minimum age of 20 years
willingness to work in shifts, especially late nights, weekends, and holidays
interest in technical connections and a willingness to continuously expand your knowledge
high degree of responsibility, reliability, and independence in workstyle
medical and psychological suitability (examined in the selection process)
no relevant entries in the traffic suitability register
