Apprenticeship as Kaufmann im Gesundheitswesen (Healthcare Management Assistant) at Asklepios Klinik Weißenfels, a hospital of primary care and academic teaching hospital of Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg in southern Saxony-Anhalt

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Learning all facets of clinic administration with focus on patient management
Working in various departments including outpatient and inpatient patient admission/billing, medical controlling, quality management, human resources, and finance/accounting
Learning methods and tools of modern office communication and coordination
Learning to use modern communication and application systems with focus on hospital information system (KIS Orbis)
Handling telephone and written communication with patients, health insurance companies, authorities
Working independently after training and taking responsibility for own tasks

Anforderungen:

Very good Realschulabschluss (secondary school certificate) or good (Fach-) Abitur
Very good manners
Enjoy working with people
Open-mindedness and friendly communication towards patients, employees, and business partners
Commitment and initiative
Enjoy working with modern work and communication tools
Interest in administrative processes and organizational tasks in the healthcare sector
