The three-year apprenticeship as Kaufmann für Verkehrsservice (m/f/d) at DB Vertrieb GmbH in Freiburg im Breisgau includes learning customer service basics, advising customers on travel planning and ticket purchases, and working with modern communication and sales systems. The vocational school is located in Karlsruhe.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Learning the basics of customer service and everything necessary about travel offers and services
advising customers on travel planning, ticket purchases, and service requests in DB travel centers
being an integral part of the team from the beginning and embodying the host mentality
handling modern communication and sales systems
gaining insight into the behind-the-scenes of railway operations and collaboration between various actors at the station

Anforderungen:

School successfully completed with a recognized German school-leaving certificate
German language skills at least at B2 level
enjoyment of interacting with people from different cultures
ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in difficult situations
responsible, reliable, solution-oriented, and team-oriented
willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
