The 3-year apprenticeship as Kaufmann für Verkehrsservice (m/f/d) with a focus on dispatch at DB Regio AG in Kiel includes block teaching at the vocational school in Hamburg-St. Georg and the training center in Altona. The role involves ensuring smooth railway operations, handling disruptions, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Familiarization with railway operations and the key role as a dispatcher
Ensuring minimal impact of deviations in operations
Handling operational disruptions and initiating countermeasures
Recording vehicle malfunctions and commissioning repairs
Knowledge of travel offers, service and safety services, line networks, transport contracts, and contractual penalties

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized German diploma
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Ability to remain calm and maintain overview in difficult situations
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
