Jobbeschreibung:

The 3-year vocational training as a dispatcher / Kaufmann für Verkehrsservice 2026 (m/f/d) for DB Regio AG (S-Bahn) at the Plochingen location. The vocational school is located in Ludwigsburg (Robert-Franck-Schule).

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Familiarization with railway operations and the key role of a dispatcher
Knowledge of travel offers, service and safety services, line networks, transport contracts, and contractual penalties
Basics of customer advice and care, marketing, and project management
Handling disruptions in operations and initiating appropriate countermeasures
Ensuring that the effects of deviations in operations are minimized and customers reach their destination safely and as punctually as possible even in the event of disruptions

Anforderungen:

School leaving certificate recognized in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in difficult situations
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
