Jobbeschreibung:

The DB Fernverkehr AG is looking for apprentices for the 3-year training as Kaufmann für Verkehrsservice (w/m/d) in Leipzig. The vocational school is located in Schkeuditz (near Leipzig), and internal seminars take place at DB Training near Leipzig Central Station. The role involves customer service, sales, and learning about travel offers, service, and safety services.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Inform, support, and advise customers in long-distance trains
Engage in sales and service
Learn basics of customer consultation and care, and marketing
Handle modern communication and sales systems
Conduct ticket checks and manage gastronomic processes

Anforderungen:

School graduation with a recognized German school leaving certificate (mittlere Reife)
Good foreign language skills (e.g., English)
Customer and service orientation
Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in difficult situations
Responsible, reliable, flexible, and mobile
Willingness to work shifts and overnight stays in other cities
