DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH offers a 3.5-year training program starting on September 1, 2026, for aspiring industrial mechanics in their maintenance workshop located in Cottbus, Germany. Participants will gain hands-on experience with mechanical tasks, vehicle maintenance, and worksite safety.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Become a professional for assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of vehicles
Metalworking with tools and machines—turning, welding, drilling, and milling
Maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles
Engagement with safety and quality assurance
Keeping locomotives operational by performing maintenance
Replacing brake blocks and repairing door damages

Anforderungen:

School successfully completed and recognized in Germany
German language skills of at least B2 level
Manual skills and enjoy tinkering
Good knowledge in math and physics
Enjoy teamwork
Dedicated, careful, and reliable working style

Wünschenswert:

Experience with tools and mechanical tasks
Interest in vehicles and mechanics
