Jobbeschreibung:

Two-year training program starting on August 17, 2026, to become an Industrieelektriker:in at DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH located in Essen. Training includes practical hands-on learning, maintenance of technical installations, and safety protocols.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Becoming an expert in the installation and modernization of high voltage systems and overhead lines
Maintenance of technical systems such as the renovation of overhead lines, replacement of contact wires, and insulators
Learning fundamentals such as the relationship between voltage and current as well as electrical basic quantities and operating resources
Installing and wiring switchgear, control, and measuring devices
Learning to professionally evaluate technical documents
Applying accident prevention measures and work safety guidelines

Anforderungen:

You have successfully completed school or will soon and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
Your German language skills correspond to at least B2 level
You have manual skills and like to tinker in your free time
You are particularly good at math and physics
Different work locations and working hours, including night shifts, are a welcome change for you
You enjoy working outside, at high altitudes, and as part of a team
Your committed and careful work ethic sets you apart
