The job involves contributing to the visual identity of IKEA through graphic design, supporting product presentation, and creating various communication materials for the store. The role includes occasional travel and collaboration with colleagues and external partners.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Contribute to the implementation of the IKEA concept and the guidelines of the visual identity in the store
Support the product presentation with graphic solutions and strong visual messages
Create media and print-ready layouts, foil plotters, and signs for communication in the store
Assemble product communication, guidance systems, signage, communication during remodeling, etc.
Share your expertise with colleagues in the store
Stay up to date on current communication and design trends
Use your knowledge of local market buying behavior to improve the communication presence inside and outside the IKEA store

Anforderungen:

Grafik, Kommunikations-Design oder Werbetechnik was the focus of your education and/or you have initial experience in an advertising agency or design studio
Passion for interior design and everything related to home
Enjoy working in a future-oriented retail environment and applying your graphic expertise in collaboration with colleagues and external partners
Creative and practical
Sense of typography and aesthetics as well as basic craftsmanship
Familiarity with common software and production tools in the graphic field
Ideally knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator and InDesign, as well as various printing and plotting techniques
Occasional business trips in small numbers to support new and remodeling projects in another IKEA store - nationwide or internationally
Basic English skills
