The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in (w/m/d) involves working outdoors on construction sites, laying new rails, checking for damages, and ensuring the smooth operation of trains. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and includes vocational school in Hamburg.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work on construction sites with the team
Lay new rails and switches
Check for damages and replace broken parts
Renew ballast under the tracks with modern machines
Ensure accurate measurements for smooth and safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Motivation and reliability
Enjoyment of teamwork
Willingness to work at different locations and shifts, including night shifts
