The apprenticeship as a track builder (Gleisbauer:in) involves working outdoors on various construction sites, maintaining tracks and switches, and using modern machinery. The training lasts for 3 years, with the first two years including accommodation in Magdeburg if certain conditions are met. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and willingness to work in different locations and shifts.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Involvement in the maintenance of tracks and switches on various construction sites
Working with modern machinery and different building materials
Learning to excavate deep pits, set shafts, and secure them
Ensuring the reliable operation of trains

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Motivation and reliability
Enjoyment of teamwork
Willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
