The role involves performing maintenance and ensuring the safety and availability of railway infrastructure. It includes internal training to support career development, extensive responsibilities in operations, leadership roles, and oversight of equipment compliance and safety measures.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Perform maintenance tasks such as inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs of infrastructure facilities
monitor budgets, guidelines, planning, and resource quality
assist in team leadership
train employees and supervise apprentices
ensure infrastructure facilities meet operational requirements
manage equipment maintenance and inspections
oversee safety and environmental compliance
enforce accident prevention measures

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of vocational training as Gleisbauer:in or qualification as Weichenmechaniker:in
ideally several years of professional experience in the maintenance of railway infrastructure facilities
high degree of customer orientation
willingness to work nights and weekends as well as participate in on-call duty
driver's license Class B
