Jobbeschreibung:

The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in (w/m/d) lasts 3 years and involves working outdoors on railway construction sites. The vocational school is located in Magdeburg, and the training workshop is in Königsborn. Accommodation in Magdeburg is provided for the first two years under certain conditions.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
lay new rails and switches
check for damages and replace broken parts
renew ballast under the rails with modern machines
ensure all measurements are accurate for safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
willingness to work outdoors
motivated and reliable
enjoys teamwork
comfortable with varying work locations, hours, and night shifts
