Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a track builder (w/m/d) for the DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Koblenz. The vocational school and training workshop are located in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. Accommodation and meals are provided by Deutsche Bahn. From the second year of training, you will increasingly work in shift operations. As you work in assembly activities, you will often be on the move and stay overnight elsewhere. Your area of operation extends over Hesse, Thuringia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and Saxony.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work on construction sites laying tracks and switches
Check rails for faults and replace damaged parts
Renew stones and gravel layers under the tracks
Ensure precise measurements for smooth train rides

Anforderungen:

School graduation recognized in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Engaged and reliable
Enjoy teamwork
Willingness to work at different locations and shifts, including night shifts
