The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in (w/m/d) is a 3-year program starting on September 1, 2026, in Hamburg. The vocational school and training workshop are also located in Hamburg. The role involves working outdoors on construction sites, ensuring the reliability and safety of train operations.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
Lay new rails and switches
Check for damages and replace broken parts
Renew the ballast under the rails using modern machines
Ensure all measurements are accurate for safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least at B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Motivation and reliability
Enjoyment of teamwork
Willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
