The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in involves working outdoors on railway construction sites, laying new rails, checking for damages, and ensuring the safety and smooth operation of trains. The training includes practical phases at the base in Frankfurt and theoretical phases at vocational schools and training workshops.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
lay new rails and switches
check for damages and replace broken parts
renew ballast under the rails with modern machines
ensure correct measurements for smooth and safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
willingness to work outdoors
motivated and reliable
enjoys teamwork
comfortable with varying work locations and hours
