The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in (w/m/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Ingolstadt involves a 3-year training program with vocational school and workshop in Augsburg. After successful completion, there is an opportunity for further qualification as a Fahrbahnmechaniker:in and optionally as an IHK Meister:in Gleisbau.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
lay new rails and switches
check for damages and replace broken parts
renew ballast under the tracks with modern machines
ensure accurate measurements for safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at B2 level
willingness to work outdoors
motivation and reliability
enjoyment of teamwork
flexibility with different work locations, hours, and night shifts
