The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG in Jena involves working outdoors on construction sites, laying new rails and switches, checking for damages, and ensuring the safe operation of trains. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years, with vocational school in Magdeburg and training workshops in Königsborn.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
lay new rails and switches
check for damages and replace broken parts
renew the ballast under the rails with modern machines
ensure all measurements are accurate for safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
willingness to work outdoors
motivated and reliable
enjoys teamwork
comfortable with varying work locations, shifts, and night shifts
