The apprenticeship as a track builder is a 3-year program starting on September 1, 2026, with practical training at various locations and blockwise attendance at vocational school and training workshop in Ludwigshafen (Rhein). The role involves working outdoors on construction sites, laying new rails, checking for damages, and ensuring the safe operation of trains.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
lay new rails and switches
check for damages and replace broken parts
renew ballast under the rails
ensure measurements are accurate for smooth and safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized German diploma
German language proficiency at least B2 level
willingness to work outdoors
motivation and reliability
enjoyment of teamwork
readiness for varied work locations, hours, and night shifts
