Jobbeschreibung:

The apprenticeship as a track builder (Gleisbauer:in) involves working outdoors on railway construction sites, laying new tracks, inspecting and repairing damages, and ensuring the safety and smooth operation of trains. The training lasts 3 years, with vocational school in Ludwigshafen and practical training in Frankfurt and Ludwigshafen.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on outdoor construction sites
lay new tracks and switches
inspect for damages and replace broken parts
renew ballast under tracks with modern machinery
ensure accurate measurements for smooth and safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
willingness to work outdoors
motivation and reliability
enjoyment of teamwork
readiness for varying work locations, shifts, and night shifts
