The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in (w/m/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Falkenberg/Elster involves working outdoors on construction sites, laying new rails and switches, inspecting and replacing damaged parts, and ensuring the safety and reliability of train operations. The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years, with the first two years including accommodation in Magdeburg if certain conditions are met.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
Lay new rails and switches
Inspect and replace damaged parts
Renew ballast under the tracks with modern machines
Ensure accurate measurements for safe train operations

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Motivation and reliability
Enjoyment of teamwork
Flexibility with varying work locations, hours, and night shifts
