You will be introduced to the various tasks of a track builder during work and attend various training courses where you will learn further theoretical and practical knowledge about track construction. As a track builder, you ensure that the DB's infrastructure is modernized and maintained. You always work in a team.

Verantwortlichkeiten

Responsible for the maintenance and renewal of our rail network
Carrying out maintenance, conversion, and repair work on our track systems (e.g., replacement of rails, switches, sleepers, track bed) together with your team
Eliminating damage to the tracks with your colleagues
Working on changing construction sites, outdoors, and mostly at night
Completing our internal qualification program, attending regular training courses, and continuously learning

Anforderungen

Successfully completed apprenticeship as a specialist in civil engineering/steel construction/concrete construction, as a mason, metalworker, or in a comparable profession
Alternatively, relevant professional experience in the construction industry
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Enjoy working outdoors
Enjoy physically demanding work
Team player
Eager to learn and adapts quickly to new work environments
Possession of a Class B driver's license to drive to construction sites with the team vehicle
