This is a 3-year vocational training program to become a Gleisbauer:in (track builder) with DB InfraGO AG starting August 15, 2025. The role involves working on railway construction sites, laying tracks, repairing rails, and renewing substructure materials to ensure secure and smooth train rides. Training locations include Erfurt, Magdeburg, and Königsborn. DB offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

With your team, you are on construction sites near our railway tracks
Together, you lay tracks and switches, check our rails for errors, and replace damaged parts
You renew the stones and gravel layers under the tracks, with modern machines assisting your work
You always ensure precise measurements to maintain smooth train rides

Anforderungen:

You have (soon) successfully completed school and hold a school degree recognized in Germany
Office work is not for you – you prefer working outside
You are committed and reliable
Teamwork is fun for you, and you like to pitch in
Different work locations, working hours, and night shifts are a welcome change for you
