Training as a Gleisbauer:in starting on September 1, 2026, for the DB Bahnbau Gruppe at the Hannover location, with schooling in Magdeburg and workshops in Königsborn. Opportunity for practical work deployments in regions like Magdeburg, Halle, and Bremen while engaging in the maintenance and installation of railway infrastructure.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

You work with your team outdoors on construction sites maintaining tracks
You are deployed in the regions of Magdeburg, Halle, Hannover, Bremen, and Osnabrück during practice phases
You and your team lay new rails and switches, inspect for damages, and replace broken parts
Using modern machinery, you renew the ballast under the tracks
You ensure all dimensions are accurate, enabling safe and smooth train rides
During your training as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in, you are already a valued team member ensuring reliable train operations every day

Anforderungen:

You have successfully completed school and your school degree is recognized in Germany
Your German language proficiency is at least at the B2 level
Sitting at a desk is not for you - you prefer to work outside
You are motivated and reliable
Teamwork is enjoyable for you, and you like pitching in
Various work locations and working hours, including night shifts, are a welcome change for you
