The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in (w/m/d) in Nürnberg involves working outdoors on construction sites, laying new rails, checking for damages, and ensuring the safety and smooth operation of train tracks. The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and includes vocational school and training workshops in Nürnberg.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on outdoor construction sites
lay new rails and switches
check for damages and replace broken parts
renew ballast under the rails using modern machines
ensure correct measurements for smooth and safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
willingness to work outdoors
motivated and reliable
enjoys teamwork
comfortable with varying work locations, hours, and night shifts
