Jobbeschreibung

3-year apprenticeship as a track builder / civil engineering worker (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG in Lüneburg or Uelzen. Vocational school is located in Hamburg-Hammerbrook or, in the future, in Hamburg-Bergedorf. The training workshop is in Hamburg-Harburg. You are an important part of the team from the start and ensure our trains run reliably every day.

Verantwortlichkeiten

  • Work with your team outdoors on construction sites at our tracks
  • Lay new rails and switches together
  • Check everything for damage and replace broken parts
  • Renew the ballast under the tracks with the help of modern machines
  • Ensure all measurements are accurate so that trains can run smoothly and safely later

Anforderungen

  • School successfully completed (or soon to be completed) with a degree recognized in Germany
  • German language skills at least at B2 level
  • Preference for working outdoors rather than at a desk
  • Motivated and reliable
  • Enjoy teamwork and hands-on work
  • Willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
  • Must undergo a suitability assessment as part of the selection process

  • Wartung, Entstörung und Reparatur von Gleis- und Weichenanlagen gehören zum Alltag – inklusive Austausch von Schienen, Schwellen und Gleisbett
  • Auf der Baustelle werden Gräben ausgehoben, Rohre in Kanalschächten verlegt, Pflaster- und Mauerarbeiten durchgeführt sowie Baukörper aus Stein hergestellt
  • Ihr achtet genau darauf, dass alle Maße stimmen – damit die Züge später ruhig und sicher fahren
  • Während deiner Ausbildung als Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in bist du bereits ein wichtiger Teil des Teams und sorgst jeden Tag dafür, dass unsere Züge zuverlässig unterwegs sind
  • Dein Arbeitstag beginnt und endet an deinem regionalen Stützpunkt in Nürnberg. Gelegentlich bist du mit deinem Team auch über Nacht im Einsatz innerhalb Bayerns
