Jobbeschreibung:

The apprenticeship as a track builder / civil engineering worker involves working outdoors on construction sites, maintaining and repairing track and switch systems, and ensuring the safety and reliability of train operations. The training lasts for 3 years and includes both practical work and vocational school.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of track and switch systems
Excavation of trenches, laying pipes in shafts, paving and masonry work
Ensuring accurate measurements for safe train operation
Being an integral part of the team ensuring reliable train operations

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Motivation and reliability
Enjoyment of teamwork
Willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
