Jobbeschreibung:

The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in involves working outdoors on construction sites, laying new rails, checking for damages, and ensuring the safe operation of trains. The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years and includes vocational school in Magdeburg and training workshops in Königsborn. Accommodation is provided during the training period in Magdeburg and Königsborn.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites
Lay new rails and switches
Check for damages and replace broken parts
Renew the ballast under the tracks using modern machines
Ensure all measurements are accurate for smooth and safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School education successfully completed and recognized in Germany
German language skills at least B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Motivation and reliability
Enjoyment of teamwork
Willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
