Jobbeschreibung:

The apprenticeship as a Gleisbauer:in / Tiefbaufacharbeiter:in involves working outdoors on railway construction sites, laying new tracks, inspecting and maintaining existing infrastructure, and ensuring the safety and reliability of train operations. The training lasts for three years, with the first two years including accommodation support in Magdeburg if certain conditions are met.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work with the team on construction sites laying new rails and switches
Inspect and replace damaged parts
Renew the ballast under the rails using modern machines
Ensure all measurements are accurate for safe train operation

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Willingness to work outdoors
Motivation and reliability
Enjoyment of teamwork
Willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
