We are looking for a Forester:in for Tree Inspections (w/m/d) at the DB Fahrwegdienste GmbH locations in Frankfurt am Main, Fulda, Koblenz, or Mainz. Your tasks include tree assessments, safety inspections, measures for restoring tree safety, and work documentation. The position combines operational forestry tasks with digital documentation ensuring vegetation safety on DB's route network.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

You are responsible for initial recording and regular inspections of trees using technical tools
Assessing the trees for their stability and safety is one of your main tasks
You professionally derive necessary measures to restore traffic safety
Before the start of construction sites, you carefully inspect the area for potential hazards
You digitally document your performance according to our specifications
You routinely prepare qualified measurement documentation

Anforderungen:

You are a trained forester, gardener with a specialization in garden and landscape construction, or have comparable vocational training
You have practical experience in tree inspection and are ideally certified as an FLL Tree Inspector or European Tree Worker
You are proficient in using MS Office and familiar with GIS software
Ideally, you hold a valid driving license (Class B) for daily travel to our vegetation areas
Your health suitability for carrying out the tasks is assessed during the selection process
