Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves track maintenance and construction responsibilities for DB InfraGO AG, combining technical execution, compliance monitoring, construction supervision, and operational duties to ensure maintenance of railway infrastructure. The position expects leadership and problem-solving capabilities with opportunities for job security and employee benefits.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

You are responsible for proper, technical, and timely as well as cost-optimized job execution in the railway track trade and assigned tasks according to economic principles and technical rules
You ensure compliance/monitoring of the defined maintenance target processes, including report handling
Construction supervision, safety monitoring, and safety planning also belong to your area of responsibility
You comply with environmental protection, occupational safety, and fire protection guidelines and analyze operational disruptions in case of technical faults or irregular construction processes
You ensure the availability of facilities as needed to guarantee safe, punctual, and economical operations as part of job execution (inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair)
You participate in on-call duty
You represent the team leadership operationally

Anforderungen:

You are a railway track mechanic or track construction specialist and have the qualification as a master in the field of track construction and are willing to acquire any missing qualifications
You have extensive professional knowledge and several years of experience in the field of railway tracks/or superstructure
You are comfortable with technical systems and standard software (e.g., MS Office) and knowledge of SAP is an advantage
Ideally, you have already gained initial leadership experience
High level of initiative, communication and teamwork skills, assertiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility
Your working style is characterized by economic thinking and action
You also have a valid class B driving license
