Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves working as a skilled worker in switch manufacturing for DB InfraGO AG in Witten. Responsibilities include assembling rail components, operating machinery, and transporting heavy materials. The position requires vocational training in a metal profession or equivalent experience, teamwork skills, and willingness to work in shifts.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

working according to written order specifications and drawings
using electrical/pneumatic hand tools such as angle grinders or drills
assembling rail components up to complete switches
operating various machines such as stationary circular saws, flat grinding machines, and bending machines
transporting rails up to 37 meters in length
operating overhead crane systems with weights of up to 3.2 tons

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training in a metal profession (e.g., industrial mechanic, process mechanic, locksmith, metalworker) or comparable long-term professional experience in this field
interest in teamwork
independent, structured, and reliable way of working
willingness to work outdoors
willingness to work in shift work including night shifts
