We are looking for a pedagogical specialist for the crèche area for our daycare center 'Eiffekinder'. Our daycare center is located directly at an accommodation for people with a refugee background and a prospect of staying. Here we care for and support up to 80 children of diverse origins every day - it is very important to us to meet these children lovingly, to design the daycare center as a place of learning as best as possible for them and to enable new, also cultural experiences.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Design the pedagogical everyday life of the children according to our concept
Accompany and support the children and make pedagogical offers according to the Hamburg educational recommendations
Support children and parents during the settling-in period into daycare life and good integration into our beautiful city
Documentation of the support process, as well as development discussions and parental counseling
Part of a diverse team that speaks over 10 different languages
Participate in shaping processes on site
Participate in weekly team consultations

Anforderungen:

Erzieher*in, SPA or comparable qualification (see HH Positiv Liste)
Recognition of foreign qualifications by the Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung required
Good German language skills
Joy in working with children from all over the world and interest in their diverse living environments
Professional handling of proximity and distance and respectful interaction with the target group and their parents
Empathy, sense of responsibility, communication skills, commitment, openness, humor
Joy in teamwork and team development processes
Interest in regular further training
