Jobbeschreibung:

As an electronics technician in switching service / network operator (m/f/d) for the S-Bahn power supply for DB Energie GmbH at the Berlin location, you will ensure that the trains of the S-Bahn Berlin receive the energy they need. You will be responsible for all aspects of operational management and fault management in the entire 750 V DC network, perform switching operations, and monitor switching operations. In the event of faults, you will immediately forward the information to the relevant authorities and initiate troubleshooting. You will also maintain records of events and implement the reporting, information, and reporting system.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

ensuring that the trains of the S-Bahn Berlin receive the energy they need
responsibility for all aspects of operational management and fault management in the entire 750 V DC network
performing switching operations in the switching order area and monitoring switching operations
in the event of faults, immediately forwarding the information to the relevant authorities and initiating troubleshooting
maintaining records of events
implementing the reporting, information, and reporting system

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training as an energy electronics technician, electronics technician for building and infrastructure systems, electrical installer, industrial electrician, or equivalent training in the electrical field
ideally, experience in network operations management
willingness to learn and acquire necessary qualifications
health suitability as a prerequisite, determined by a company medical examination during the selection process
willingness to work in shifts
high level of teamwork, independence, and sense of responsibility
