As an Elektroniker:in für Betriebstechnik, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of railway traffic. Your work ensures that trains run and passengers reach their destinations safely and quickly. The 3.5-year apprenticeship starts on 01.09.2026 at DB Energie GmbH in Ulm. Depending on interest and availability, the apprenticeship can be in various areas such as trains, rails and power lines, stations, or workshops.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Understanding electrical quantities like voltage, current, resistance, and power
Analyzing and rectifying faults in operational technology
Ensuring smooth operation of plants to prevent power outages
Installing and maintaining electronic systems
Replacing signals and lamps
Ensuring fault-free operation of electronic components in trains such as doors and info displays
Assisting with repairs of escalators and elevators

Anforderungen:

School completion with recognized diploma in Germany
German language proficiency at least B2 level
Interest in math and physics
Handy and enjoys working with electronic components
Team player
Reliable
Ability to work independently
